Appel à la libération immédiate de l’artiste et militant du Mouvement du 20 février, Mouad « L7a9d » Belghouate.
Le 9 septembre 2011 Mouad Belghouate, 24 ans, Alias « L7a9d », artiste rappeur, était arrêté, accusé de coups et blessures sur la personne de Mohamed Dali. Ce dernier, membre de l’Alliance royaliste, un groupe qui mène depuis le début du printemps marocain des actions violentes contre le Mouvement du 20 février, était venu provoquer l’artiste jusqu’à son quartier Al Wifaq.
Les témoins de la scène qui s’est déroulée au pied du domicile parental de Mouad sont unanimes à reconnaître qu’il n’y a jamais eu de coups portés au plaignant.
Malgré cela la police a refusé de prendre la plainte du rappeur et a procédé à son arrestation et son déferrement au parquet, qui l’a inculpé de coups et blessures, ayant entraîné une incapacité de travail de 45 jours, avant de l’incarcérer, dans l’attente du jugement.
Nous faisons aujourd’hui les constats suivants que nous portons à la connaissance de l’opinion publique nationale et internationale:
-La détention préventive de Mouad, qui s’appuie sur une fausse plainte, est totalement injustifiée. En outre, les nombreux témoignages à décharge, l’absence d’antécédents judiciaires et l’existence de garanties pour une présentation de l’artiste au procès, plaident pour une libération provisoire.
-Les lenteurs de l’instruction, et le report des audiences pour absence du plaignant, ont retardé la comparution de l’accusé au 5 décembre, alors qu’il se trouve en détention provisoire depuis plus de trois mois. Le procès devrait s’ouvrir le 22 décembre. Jusque là l’artiste reste en prison.
-Le plaignant, Mohamed Dali, qui aurait prétendument sombré dans le coma après son altercation avec Mouad, a participé à l’action violente contre le journal «Akhbar al Yaoum», en brûlant des exemplaires et intimidant ses journalistes, en date du 9 octobre 2011, soit trente jours après les faits reprochés à Mouad, alors qu’il a produit un certificat médical de quarante cinq jours (photo à l’appui, parue dans Hespress, le même jour et à la une de l’édition d’Akhbar al Yaoum du lendemain).
-Le certificat médical du plaignant mentionne une fracture de la cloison nasale dont il ne reste aucune trace sur la photo mentionnée plus haut.
Compte tenu de ce qui précède, nous, politiques, acteurs de la société civile et citoyens marocains, appuyons la défense, et affirmons que les raisons de l’incarcération de Mouad «L7a9d» Belghouate, sont à chercher ailleurs, soit dans son engagement politique au sein du Mouvement du 20 février et dans le contenu de ses chansons, jugé subversif par les autorités marocaines.
Nous exigeons :
-La libération immédiate de Mouad « L7a9d » Belghouate.
-La tenue d’un procès équitable prenant en compte les éléments du dossier présentés par la défense.
-La diligence d’une enquête indépendante déterminant les responsabilités sur le déroulement de la procédure insolite qui a présidé à la conduite de cette affaire.

I was at Ramstein in the Air Operations Center operated by the 32 AOS and 32 AOG (AFSC 13B) from 1996 1999, and again from 2002 2007. I once helped offload some of the wounded coming in on a MEDEVAC-configured C-17. I’m a poet and have been reading Iraq War veteran Brian Turner’s works, and more recently, Clamor,’ by Elise Fenton, and These Terrible Sacraments’ by Colleen Harris. Fenton’s husband served in Iraq, while Harris’ brother served there. Both books are eloquent, poignant, extreemly well-written verse highly recommended. I look forward to reading more updates to your blog.

My heart is broken over the loss of my claoelgue Megan Charlop. I am still in shock and can’t believe we’ve lost someone so special and genuine all too soon. Megan had always encouraged me to ride my bike, we even talked about going on a biking adventure together one day. I’m saddened that now, that day will never come. It is interesting to see Vijay tinryg to do something like many of my kind intend to do as per my understanding. I have always wondered the cutting edges in US and felt guilty why they are not yet in india. There could be reasons for some but for many, it is just the plain attitude of people resisting change that keep us years behind developed nations. Vijay, have you brought up this in chennai or stil the work in progress? Also, regarding solar, I think we still have plenty of resources and alternate ways, Few months back, Scientific american published an article about new type of solar cells, with high output at cheaper cost and plans to establish big solar plants to power major parts of US. On the other end Japan is also tinryg to launch solar plates in space that could absorb much more solar (rather than lying in earth receiving much less solar radiation) and a way to send the enerty back to earth. So, solar would be probably the next best source for energy.
